HYC Supply WDM Series for 5G Networks

With the rapid development of 5G networks, the demand in long-distance and large capacity bandwidth increased rapidly. It is an important requirement for the bearer network in the 5G era to increase network capacity through bandwidth increasing and to have the ability to smoothly expand bandwidth in the future. HYC has launched a series of WDM modules based on 5G network applications.
The LAN WDM LGX module of HYC is a wavelength division multiplexing technology based on TFF (thin film filter), which is suitable for central office terminal (COT) and remote terminal (RT). This LAN WDM uses zero-dispersion wavelength to make the optical signal more flat and stable in the transmission process and avoid signal crosstalk; 800GHz channel space enables customers to have more channel choices and increase the transmission capacity of zero-dispersion wavelength. It has low insertion loss, high isolation, and wide operating temperature(-40 ~ +85 ℃).

DWDM has 100 GHz, 200 GHz channel spacing, which is suitable for long-distance, large-capacity trunk network, or ultra-large capacity MAN core nodes. This 5G DWDM module is designed for central office terminal (COT) and remote terminal (RT), with LGX or ABS packages. The common configuration is 4, 8, 12 and 16 channels. Custom extension (EXT) port and OTDR port for 4G networks are also available upon request.

5G is moving toward maturity and large-scale deployment. The application of passive WDM technology can flexibly meet the requirements of 5G base station construction, greatly save the optical fiber resources, and increase broadband by several times or even dozens of times to meet the ultimate needs of users.
